There's a thread connecting circuits and steel, pixels and physics. I found it early, and refused to let go.
I'm Nimsandu, currently reading for a BSc. Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. My path started at Ananda College, where I ran ICT workshops, led events, and fell deep into the craft of software as an active member of the Ananda College ICT Society.
The obsession grew sideways into CAD models and stress simulations, into brand identities and motion graphics, into cloud-oriented service management and AI systems. The best engineers design. The best designers think in systems. The best developers understand constraints. These aren't different fields. They're the same field, wearing different clothes.
I've taught ICT workshops to curious young Sri Lankans, managed large-scale events, and shipped software, and decided to chase a degree in things that spin, stress, and bend. That's not a contradiction. That's the point.
